How do I know if I have Head Lice?

Head Lice may be present if you notice regular itching of the scalp, scalp irritation, or on inspection you may find small parasitic creatures of about 1- 2mm in length in the hair close to the scalp. They may be sandy/brown or grey in colour. Small eggs may be present on hair shaft near the scalp and be sandy/brown or silvery white. Head Lice have very strong claws and cling onto the hair very tight. They may also be very difficult to see. If you are at all suspicious of the presence of Head Lice or wish to manage head lice infestation, please follow the instructions below.

Instructions for the use of One Stop Drop in Head Lice Management:

Maintenance:

Add 6 drops to a regular portion (approx. 20ml) of each of your shampoo and conditioner and blend together in your hand immediately prior to shampooing/ conditioning your hair. Then simply wash your hair as normal. Use on a regular basis to ensure effective management of head lice manifestation. May be done daily if you wish. However, if active Head Lice are a problem, please use the Intensive Hair Serum described below. For kids 6 years:

Add 4 Drops to a normal portion of shampoo and conditioner, and blend together in your hand immediately prior to shampooing/ conditioning your hair.

Adults:

Add 12 drops to a regular portion of each of your shampoo and conditioner (20ml) and blend together in your hand immediately prior to shampooing/ conditioning your hair. Then simply wash your hair as normal. Use on a regular basis to ensure the effective maintenance of head lice manifestation. As above, continue with the

Intensive Hair Serum if any Head Lice become evident.

*If you are having trouble creating lather, wet your hair slightly after you have added shampoo and continue. If you wet your hair first it becomes difficult for your shampoo to bind to the oil, therefore it becomes difficult to remove the oil and you are left with very greasy hair. Used as outlined above, this serum acts to deeply condition your hair and you will notice that it becomes soft and shiny and much more vibrant! Remember to use your One Stop Drop Essential Oil Concentrate in your conditioner after you have shampooed the

30 drops (adults) / 20 drops (kids over 7 yrs) and 10 drops (kids 6 yrs & under) (*Not to be used in children under 2 years of age without medical advice) to 50ml of vegetable oil (eg. olive oil, canola, macadamia), stir and apply to dry hair. Leave for at least 30 minutes then remove by shampooing hair as normal. Shampoo and condition as mentioned above then repeat Intensive Hair Serum again in one week. Intensive Hair Serum out of your hair for extra control.

Washing your bed linen, hats, etc.

When doing your normal load of washing simply add 8 drops of your One Stop Drop Oil Concentrate, along with your regular washing powder into warm to hot water and choose a long wash cycle. Your linen will have a beautiful lingering smell of luxurious French Lavender. Enjoy the calming and soothing effects of One Stop Drop while you sleep.

Please keep out of reach of children. Never use undiluted. Not to be used in children under 2 years of age without medical advice. Discontinue if any adverse reaction occurs and contact your health care professional if symptoms persist. Always avoid eye area. Not to be taken.

**Please note: if it hasn’t worked yet, keep using it. It may take a couple of weeks or so before you to build up a resistance, but you will eventually have a break through! Some eggs are very persistent and rebound breakouts can occur. You do not need to remove eggs with One Stop Drop. The regular washing will catch any remaining eggs as they hatch. Continue your One Stop Drop Oil Intensive Hair Serum every 4-5 days, then shampoo & condition using the Oil Concentrate in between. Control Head Lice stress wit One Stop Drop.
